My Sister’s Gallery Presents: “Through the Lens” Photography by Joann K. Long and Regina O. Muscarella

October 24, 2022

Fueled by the love of nature and animals, as well as experienced with photography classes taken at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Joann K. Long seeks to tell a story with her images and share their beauty.  Always asking questions and experimenting with techniques, she’s discovered a deep passion that reveals the magic her images hope to express. She has exhibited her work in many galleries, successfully competed in multiple national competitions, and has been published in various magazines and publications. She is past President of the Finger Lakes Photography Guild and serves on the club’s training committee.

In addition to her photography endeavors, she is an FAA Certified Commercial UAS Pilot and a volunteer firefighter for the East Bloomfield Holcomb Fire Department. She enjoys living in the small town of Bloomfield on her farm with her husband, dog, and cat. You can see more of Joann’s work on her website https://joann-long.pixels.com and Facebook page www.facebook.com/JoannKLongPhotography

Regina O. Muscarella is a Victor based photographer whose varied interests can be seen in her work.  Her images have been featured in Life in the Finger Lakes magazine and website and in 55 Plus, a local magazine highlighting retirees.  She has exhibited at the Cobblestone Art Center in Farmington, 1570 Galley in Rochester, and Image City Gallery in Rochester.  She is a proud volunteer photographer for the Genesee Country Village and Museum, and her images can be seem on the GCV&M website and visitors’ app, Facebook and Instagram pages and seasonal brochures.
