Here’s information about the wide range of employee benefits we offer. These are valuable additions to your overall compensation package when you work with ESLC. When it comes to senior living employee benefits, ESLC wants to support our staff as much as possible.
Group health insurance plans are available for eligible employees, their spouses and dependent children. Each full-time employee can choose from two levels of coverage to find the best option for their family. ESLC includes a generous contribution to each employee’s plan, to make this important insurance more affordable.
Same-day telemedicine with mobile diagnostic care, at no cost to employee and their family. Care Coordinators connect employees with a tele-physician for a consultation and, as needed, a mobile care unit will come to the employee for further evaluation (x-rays, lab tests, etc.). The only cost the employee incurs is for any prescriptions sent to their chosen pharmacy after care is completed.
The affordable dental insurance we offer to eligible employees is a self-insured plan, available as single or family coverage.
A policy including A&D, valued at one-and-one-half times an employee’s annual salary, is available to all eligible employees. Additional levels of protection are available through ESLC’s Voluntary Benefits program (see below). At ESLC, we feel that life insurance employee benefits are important to help our staff ensure the financial security of their families.
ESLC has a 401k plan that we contribute to each year. Employees can also make contributions to the plan through payroll deductions to help save for their retirement.
Full- and part-time employees are invited to enroll in an FSA to have money deducted on a pre-tax basis to help reimburse out-of-pocket expenses for medical, dental and dependent care.
Employees who choose our consumer-directed health plan are also eligible to enroll in an HSA. This employee benefit allows you to have money deducted through payroll on a pre-tax basis that can be used for qualified medical expenses. Even better—the funds roll over year-to-year and don’t expire.
ESLC offers a competitive ETO program. The amount of time accrued is based on each employee’s position, length of service and the number of hours worked each week.
Our employees are special people, so we recognize their birthdays as special events—eligible employees earn an additional day of ETO on their birthday. We believe it is important to offer employee benefits that rewards our staff’s dedication.
ESLC has six official holidays each year: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
We offer free and confidential counseling for our employees and their household members through the Strong Employee Assistance Program.
At ESLC, we encourage our employees to continue growing their knowledge base and developing their skills through our generous tuition reimbursement program. This is one of the senior living employee benefits we offer to help our employees grow professionally.
If you’re an ESLC employee and you have an accident or illness that prevents you from working, you may be eligible for disability benefits.
Our employees can take advantage of our corporate discounts on a variety of services. ESLC is also a My Better Benefits (mBB) member, which offers our employees additional discounts on goods and services ranging from food and dining, to retail, hotels and travel, sports and recreation, tickets to movies and special events, and much more. ESLC promotes the health and well-being of each employee through education activities that support healthier living and lifestyle changes. These include lunch & learns, cooking demonstrations, financial loan options, participation in community walks and other events throughout the year. Spiritual support is also available for all staff from our chaplain Rev. Deven Hubert and our lay chaplain Marino Fernandez.
Our workforce at ESLC is at the heart of what we do. To show our appreciation, employees enjoy a fun and employee-centered work environment that includes picnics, staff appreciation meals, holiday meals, service awards and other recognition events throughout the year.
ESLC offers full- and part-time employees who have benefit-earning status the option to enroll in any or all of the following group insurance plans on a voluntary (self-pay) basis: permanent life insurance, short-term disability insurance, vision insurance, cancer insurance and accident insurance. Payments are made through payroll deduction.
