Recorder Performance with Mario Errico and Friends

May 2, 2023

Please meet in the Living Room
The group:  Liz and Neil Seely, Dee Dee Heyer, Mario Errico
Liz and Neil have been playing recorder for most of their lives; in fact, Neil was one of the founders of the Rochester Chapter of the American Recorder Society, over 50 years ago.  Both have been very active in teaching recorder to people of all ages and skills.  Prior to Covid, Liz had been conducting the Outreach recorder ensemble, which gave free performances in churches, schools, hospitals, retirement homes and more.  Dee Dee has enjoyed playing the recorder for many years, teaching and helping with the administration of the Rochester Chapter.  Mario started playing recorder while at Engineering college in Italy too many years ago and never left it.  He has a collection of cherished wind instruments which include several native instruments from Italy and other double-reed contemporaries of the recorder.
As a group, we have enjoyed each other’s music for several years and continued practicing/rehearsing together through the Covid pandemic.  We love playing for others, and people seem to enjoy our music, even with the “occasional” wrong notes.
