January 2027: Oasis Rochester is Moving to 1530 East Avenue

Big things are happening at Oasis Rochester – and we could not be more excited to share them with you.

When Episcopal SeniorLife Communities became the sponsoring organization of Oasis Rochester, we made a commitment: to invest in the programs, the people and the spaces that make Oasis Rochester such a vital part of our community. This January, that commitment takes a very visible form.

A Space Built for You

Oasis Rochester will be moving from its longtime home on Monroe Avenue to a beautifully transformed new location at 1530 East Avenue, right next to Valley Manor on Rochester’s east side.

The building has served primarily as office space for a number of years – but thanks to generous support from the ESLC Foundation, it is being reimagined from the ground up into a warm, welcoming and purpose-built home for the programs and people of Oasis Rochester. The new space will feature:

• An exercise and dance studio
• A teaching kitchen
• A classroom and lecture area
• Meeting rooms
• A resource and library space
• Outdoor sitting areas
• On-site parking

Every element of this new space was designed with Oasis participants in mind – spaces that invite learning, movement, connection, and community.

The Heart of Oasis Is Coming With Us

A new address doesn’t change what makes Oasis Rochester special. The programs, the instructors, the friendships and the spirit that have defined Oasis for more than 40 years are all making the move to East Avenue. What’s changing is the canvas – and it’s a beautiful one.
