1570 Gallery at Valley Manor Presents: “Nature Revisited” by Joanne Andrews

Joanne Andrews graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. She enjoyed working at the newspapers, The Tampa Tribune in Tampa, FL and the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle for 15 years as an artist and then Art Director. Later, she became a freelance artist and teacher for the last 20-plus years.

Currently, Joanne has been freelancing and exhibiting in art shows, as well as teaching art to children. Joanne has also been the Art Director for Magic Dragon Magazine since its inception over 15 years ago. It is a non-profit magazine that promotes creativity in children. (www.magicdragonmagazine.com). Joanne creates freelance artwork with watercolor and acrylics digitally in Photoshop and Illustrator. She has enjoyed exhibiting in Artists Row, Holiday Bazaar at Rochester Museum and Science Center and Clothesline at the Memorial Art Gallery. Stained glass is her latest creative exploration. Joanne also combines some painting on the stained glass pieces, so each piece is a one-of-a-kind original.
