Rachel Cordaro is a contemporary painter whose life and practice have been shaped by a deep commitment to making art. Raised in Rochester, NY, by parents who encouraged exploration across creative disciplines, she developed an early fluency in both painting and textile work. She became a fearless painter and textile artist whose vibrant floral paintings have earned acclaim in high-end boutiques and private collections across the United States, with works held internationally in Italy, the Turks and Caicos, and Australia.
Rachel’s flowers do not replicate reality—they capture a higher, symbolic truth: our longing for nature’s enchantments. Painted with bold strokes and confident centers, each blossom radiates energy and poise. Though her work contains no human subjects, it exudes personality—dramatic, shy, flirtatious, quiet, sassy, classy, and at times untamed.
