Lisa has served at Episcopal SeniorLife Communities for more than 23 years and is an experienced and trusted member of the senior leadership team. She is responsible for the strategic direction, operational performance, the financial viability and the governance practices for all ESLC services. Lisa is an innovative thinker, dedicated to leading change by defining and developing health care and community services that meet the ever-changing needs of seniors. Prior to coming to ESLC, she worked at The ARC of Monroe County for a decade and five years in public accounting. Lisa received the 2010 LeadingAge New York Professional of the Year Award, one of the Association’s highest awards for her leadership and commitment to long-term care and was the first recipient of the Loren J. Ranaletta Award of Honor at ESLC. Lisa is invested in the Rochester Community and has served on various local and statewide boards and committees including The Sojouner House, Pathstone, Family Community Services and LeadingAge New York.

Loren has been with ESLC for 39 years and has seen the organization grow from a single nursing facility to 8 campuses and 10 communities. He got into long term care to help seniors live better lives and he remains committed to that passion. As he transitions from President/CEO to President of the Episcopal Church Home Foundation, his desire to help shape public policy and change senior living will certainly shine through. Loren has served as a volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association where he is an honorary life board member. He currently serves as the NYS representative on the national public policy group for LeadingAge and the Sage Commission II locally and on the board of the Greater Rochester Housing Partnership.

Jessica joined ESLC in 2015 as Assistant Controller, transitioned to Controller in 2016 and then to CFO in September 2022. Jessica – a Certified Public Accountant – is responsible for the direction and oversight of all financial operations. Her responsibilities include the production of periodic financial reports, financial forecasting, revenue management, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records and internal controls and overseeing all financial compliance reporting and financing activities. As a part of the Senior Leadership Team, she contributes to the overall strategy and vision of the organization and works with other Leadership members to determine the financial feasibility of new initiatives and programs. Jessica has more than 15 years of experience in accounting and was formerly an Audit Manager for The Bonadio Group. Jessica holds her bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. John Fisher.

Courtney has more than 24 years of experience in the senior living industry, many of which have been at Episcopal SeniorLife Communities. She is an integral part of the senior leadership team, and is responsible for contributing to the overall vision, strategic direction and program development of the organization. Courtney oversees the chaplaincy program, marketing and public relations. She has served in many roles within the community including President of GRAPE (Greater Rochester Area Partnership for the Elderly) from 2007-2009, and has received numerous awards and honors including Professional of the Year from LeadingAge New York in 2012 and the Loren J. Ranaletta Award of Honor in 2016. Courtney has a keen sense of industry knowledge, and is passionate about helping seniors and their loved ones as they transition through life stages.

As the administrator of record, Amanda is responsible for the overall direction, management and compliance of the Episcopal Church Home. She received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from SUNY Fredonia, and her master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from RIT with a minor in Gerontology. She is a 2013 LeadingAge Leadership Academy Fellow. Amanda joined ESLC in 2016 after six years as a leader in the healthcare industry – one year at Aldersgate Retirement Community in Charlotte, North Carolina and seven years at Unity Health System.

Vice President of Assisted Living

Anne has been with ESLC since 2018 and transitioned into the role of Vice President of Assisted Living in August 2021. She is responsible for operational oversight of all ESLC assisted living communities including fiscal responsibility, standardization of business practices, clinical protocols and employment systems. Anne has an executive master’s degree in business administration from RIT Saunders School of Business, a master’s degree in nursing education and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Roberts Wesleyan College, and an associate’s degree in nursing from Monroe Community College. Over the years, Anne has been a part of medical missionary clinics in Kenya, Africa and has served as a clinical instructor at Roberts Wesleyan College.

Michelle has been with ESLC for more than 13 years in a variety of roles. In 2021, she took on the responsibility of Senior Director of Independent Living where she helps develop and support strategic initiatives for the organization, and is responsible for the oversight and operations management of all ESLC independent living communities. Michelle holds her bachelor’s degree in social work from State University of Brockport and her associate’s degree in Liberal Arts with Human Service Certificate from Monroe Community College. She is currently serving on the Funeral Home Alliance Board and on Lifespan’s Ethics Committee.

Jeff came to ESLC in July 2019 after 20+ years in the senior living industry including extensive experience in assisted living and memory care services. He is responsible for the leadership and strategic vision for ESLC’s community-based programs including service coordination, Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative sites, the Neighborhood Program and affordable housing programs. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration, with gerontology and sociology minors, from SUNY Fredonia and a master’s degree in Public Administration with a healthcare emphasis from SUNY Brockport.

David started with ESLC in December 2021. He hit the ground running, assuming the role of Controller, and came to us with long-term care experience, from Schofield Care in Buffalo, NY.

Michelle Halloran

Michelle joined ESLC as the Vice President of Human Resources for Episcopal SeniorLife Communities in 2022. Prior, Michelle served as Vice President of Human Resources for eHealth Technologies. During her tenure, Michelle had been a finalist for Rochester Human Resources Executive of the Year in 2015. A passionate volunteer, Michelle serves on the GCSHRM Diversity Council, as a member and past chair of Mary Cariola Human Resources Committee, and a member and former Personnel Committee chair of the Rochester Childfirst Network Board. Michelle is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resource by the Society of Human Resource Management. She earned her Master of Science degree in Careers and Human Resource Development from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from SUNY Geneseo.
