ESLC Auxiliary

Join a Rich History of Senior Living Volunteers at ESLC

Founded in 1963, the Auxiliary began with only 14 women members from local Episcopal parishes. The group of senior living volunteers quickly grew and membership expanded to those of any denomination, many of whom had a relative or friend who resided at ESLC at one time or another. The group has since expanded to include men and referred to as the ESLC Auxiliary. The purpose of the ESLC Auxiliary is to further the welfare of the residents in the spirit of Christian love and to assist in serving Episcopal SeniorLife Communities. The Auxiliary continues to live out this purpose with their time, talent and treasure each and every year.

As a service organization with a strong fundraising mission, its members manage and operate the Tip Top Shoppe, a gift shop located off the main lobby of the Episcopal Church Home. In addition to monthly meetings, members also conduct bake sales and other fundraisers throughout the year. All of the proceeds of these efforts are returned to ESLC to support programs and services for residents.
