Ways to Give

At Episcopal SeniorLife Communities, we believe in the power of community—especially when businesses like yours get involved. Your support helps older adults thrive by funding wellness programs, community events, and essential services.

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable investment account that allows you to make an irrevocable, tax-deductible contribution to a sponsoring organization.

Information you’ll need to make your gift:

  • Receiving Institution Name: The Episcopal Church Home Foundation, Inc.
  • Receiving Institution Tax Identification #: 22-2789197
  • ESLC Contact Name: Jennifer Tannous, Foundation Operations Manager

It’s possible that the sponsoring organization won’t share your information with us. So if you make a DAF gift, please email Jenn Tannous at jtannous@episcopalseniorlife.org so we can be sure to thank you!

Contact Jenn Tannous at jtannous@episcopalseniorlife.org for information on how to make stock gift.

A legacy gift, commonly referred to as a planned gift, is a personal contribution that affords donors the opportunity to give in a way that will leave a lasting legacy.

Frank Allen was a man of few words but boundless heart. As the former president of the Episcopal Church Home’s Board of Directors and member of the Board for more than 20 years, he provided us with his extraordinary wisdom, commitment, vision and decision-making to help prepare the Episcopal Church Home for its future.

The Frank Allen Society was created in Mr. Allen’s honor. Society members share his sincere dedication to all residents, present and future, and recognize the importance of planning. The Frank Allen Society recognizes donors who have planned to give to ESLC through:

  • A will or trust
  • Appreciate securities
  • Retirement account
  • Life insurance policy
  • Gift annuity
  • Assets: real estate, business interest, retained life estate

There are many personal financial benefits to planned giving such as possible tax deductions, income or savings. Those who choose to give in this way are creating a legacy, and building a better and sustainable future for seniors. By becoming a member of the Frank Allen Society, you allow us the opportunity to understand your intent and celebrate your part of ESLC’s future. As our partner, Frank Allen Society members have special access to ESLC events and programs in order to stay informed about the organization’s advancements, vision, mission and future plans.

Sample bequest language you may share with your legal advisor when preparing your estate documents:

To designate your gift for a specific purpose:

I give Episcopal SeniorLife Communities, a nonprofit organization located at 505 Mount Hope Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620, or its affiliates [insert written amount, % of the estate, or description of property]. It is my intent that this gift be used to support [insert specific purpose or program] if, and for as long as, Episcopal SeniorLife Communities determines that the need exists.

To become a member of the Frank Allen Society or to learn more about how you can leave an enduring legacy at ESLC, contact the Foundation Office at 585.546.8439, ext. 3102 or Foundation@EpiscopalSeniorLife.org

Tribute gifts offer a meaningful way to honor the life or memory of a loved one by supporting a cause that was close to their heart.

If you provide contact information when you make a tribute gift, we will notify the honoree or family of your thoughtfulness and send them an acknowledgement letter. (We won’t list the amount of your gift.)
