New Exhibit at 1570 Gallery at Valley Manor

Rochester NY Artist Paul Allen Taylor is a self-taught painter using watercolors and acrylics. He is a landscape painter, but he could be classified as a maritime artist in that many of his works involve water, boats, ships, lighthouses and shorelines. These subjects are all part of his favorite motif, the St. Lawrence River, Thousand Islands NY.

For thirty plus years Paul and his wife June attended numerous outdoor festivals selling his paintings and prints. They traveled far and wide setting up and selling in all sorts of weather, experiencing the highs and lows of the business. After a year off forced by the COVID-19 pandemic, Paul realized he didn’t miss the outdoor events and all it took to “make a buck.” That phase of his career will be on hold until he feels it’s worth the time and effort. Presently he spends time painting, working on his business and promoting his teaching plans.

Visit his website where his art is available for purchase online.  His work is available at The Artstop, Penfield, NY, Bayhouse Artisans, Alex Bay, NY, the Breakwater Gallery, Cape Vincent, NY , and Brian Lister and Friends, Clayton, NY.
