 EPISCOPAL CHURCH HOME, 505 MT. HOPE AVENUE, ROCHESTER

·         Licensed Practical Nurse:
Per Diem openings available. Requires 4 shifts per month including 2 weekend shifts. Requires NYS LPN licensure, 1 year LPN experience and minimum 2 weeks of day orientation.
Part-Time (Evenings) 22.5 hr/ week, benefit eligible position(s) available.  Must be able to commit to day shift orientation (2 week minimum).  Requires excellent attendance as verified by prior experience.  Must enjoy working with seniors.  1 year LPN experience.
 
·      Certified Nursing Assistants:
Full-time (30 – 37.5 hrs/week) benefit eligible position available. Prior experience preferred. Must be able to commit to day shift orientation (2 week minimum). Requires excellent attendance as verified by prior experience. Must enjoy working with seniors.
Part time (22.5 hrs/week) benefits eligible positions available. Prior experience preferred. Must be able to commit to day shift orientation (2 week minimum). Requires excellent attendance as verified by prior experience. Must enjoy working with seniors.

RN Nursing Supervisors: (Per Diem) available (day, evening & night shifts on weekdays and weekends). The nursing supervisor is responsible for the supervision of nursing practice and resident care on the assigned shift, in collaboration with the nurse managers. Must have NYS RN licensure and prior supervisory experience. 
 
Marketing Associate: (Part-time, 25 hours/week): The marketing associate is responsible for implementing the marketing plans developed for Episcopal SeniorLife Communities services and programs. The marketing associate’s duties include, but are not limited to assisting with lead generation, promoting community awareness regarding the services available through Episcopal SeniorLife Communities, assisting with special events, and providing clerical support. Generate and track leads for new and existing programs. Track all inquiries by source, level of interest. Tour prospective clients and families.     Initiate rental process with prospects. Assist prospective residents and their families in the decision making process.   Evaluate prospective residents to determine appropriateness for program.  Identify and work with professional referral sources, health professionals, community resources and parishes.  Contact and meet with referral sources to discuss programs and services provided.
       Provide educational seminars and workshops regarding senior housing  and services.  Assist with special events to enhance marketing efforts.  Bachelor's Degree in business or related discipline.  Two years of experience in a marketing or public relations position. 
 
  • MDS/INFECTION CONTROL NURSE (Full time, (37.5 hrs/week):The MDS/Infection Control Nurse is responsible to set, monitor and adjust the case management plan for each resident, to ensure that the organization remains compliant with the MDS regulations, adequately captures all services provided and maximizes revenue achieved for service delivery. This position ensures that the MDS process is understood by nursing and rehab and that it guides the methodology by which we deliver and document care at the Episcopal Church Home. This position serves as the infection control officer. Work with all disciplines to ensure that resident will receive care required  Work with MDS Coordinator and director of rehabilitation (DOR) to ensure that ECH care protocols are appropriate and followed.  Work with admissions during the pre-screening process to ensure that only residents for whom we can provide adequate care are admitted to ECH. Manage the MDS schedule to ensure all services are appropriately captured for maximum reimbursement.Assess the skills and educational needs of staff regarding proper documentation.  Communicate with the nurse managers to provide needed training for staff.  Update and instruct team members/staff on any MDS changes. Working closely with nurse manager and all disciplines lead and guide the MDS preparation process to achieve a maximum case mix index and maximum New York State Medicaid revenue. Responsible for the development and implementation of ECH Infection Control policies, procedures, standards and in-services. On call responsibility on a rotating basis per nursing department needs.  Registered nurse with current license.  AANAC certified in MDS preparation.  Five or more years of recent experience in a long term care or health care facility.  

 

  • ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST: (Full-time 37.5 hr/wk):  Ensure billing for all financial classes (Medicare, Medicaid, Excellus, MVP, HMO and Private) for ECH and housing facilities are accurate, submitted timely and in compliance with billing regulation for all services provided to residents. Posts cash receipts, assists residents and families and is responsible for collection of accounts receivable for all payors.  Excellent organizational skills.Accurate and detail-oriented.Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently. Excellent computer skills, including demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office,  Minimum of an Associates’ degree and accounting experience required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with experience in admissions, billing and collections.
