The Episcopal Church Home

We’re proud to say that we’re one of the finest skilled-nursing homes in the Rochester area, serving the needs of seniors right here on historic Mt. Hope Avenue since 1868.

Ours is a heritage of superior service, with a commitment to excellence and a dedication to quality that has stood the test of time.

In addition to a distinguished history, we’re also blessed with a wonderful location on the banks of the Genesee River where we make the most of the lovely setting with private courtyards, patios and enclosed gardens for relaxation.

Your Care Team

Living at The Episcopal Church Home means being the center of attention in a community that treasures each person and provides comprehensive, personalized care through a team approach.

We begin with the finest medical and nursing care around the clock from a team of trained, experienced clinicians. Then we add our rehabilitation therapists, social workers, therapeutic recreation specialists, dieticians and the chaplain—all of whom are focused on the resident as our top priority.

Specialized Memory Care

Sunshine Meadows is a special neighborhood at The Episcopal Church Home for residents with mid- to late-stage dementia.

Located on the fourth floor of North Hall, it is a place full of life and love. Our staff is trained specifically in dementia care to ensure the finest service. The therapeutic-recreation programs provide wonderful, stimulating activities—all in an environment that emphasizes safety for the residents and peace of mind for their families.

The Center for Rehabilitation

Excellent occupational, physical and speech therapies are available to our full-time residents, as well as short-term rehabilitation clients, through The Center for Rehabilitation.

The Center is staffed by expert therapists who provide comprehensive services for orthopedic, neurologic and cardiac rehabilitation needs.
